Sr. Revenue Cycle Training Specialist

The Sr. Revenue Cycle Training Specialist under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Training Director works with the Revenue Cycle Training Director other Team Leads and the RC Training Quality Supervisor and application build teams to develop and maintain the training program for their application. The Sr. Trainer will work closely with other project-level staff and utilizes knowledge of the organization's clinical and/or business requirements Epic application capabilities and his or her technical skills to implement and support training for the Epic application as well as recommend build of the training environment. All members of the training team should have experience with adult education and UVA Medical Center operations.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of system to help direct design and train developed curriculum content
  • Provide strong instructional facilitation and technical knowledge and support to Revenue Cycle training activities.
  • Possess and / or develop organizational knowledge and provide operational support in the application area.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to facilitate implementation training tasks within the application as well coordination across applications for integrated workflows.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $27.84 - $44.54 Hourly


Education: Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in adult education including responsibility for needs assessment development and implementation and evaluation of effectiveness of education program required.
  • Experience in information systems or healthcare within the specific discipline is preferred.
  • Required to pass Epic Credentialing Panel in two attempts within three weeks.
  • Credentialing within the specific discipline is required.


This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
