The Special Events Coordinator organizes and manages special events for the Office of the Chief Executive Officer of UVA Health. This involves planning and executing events for senior leaders, board members, donors, faculty, staff, and other key constituents.
  • Organizes and manages events that support the CEO of UVA Health, including breakfasts, lunches, dinners, receptions, etc.
  • Uses their writing, social media, and multimedia skills to promote events.
  • Strategizes how to individually connect with each of the 16,000+ Health System faculty and staff.
  • Works collaboratively with UVA Health Marketing and Communications.
  • Ensures completeness, accuracy, and aesthetic presentation of all communication materials, including print publications, social media, and websites.
  • Willing to work early mornings, nights, and weekends.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $16.97 - $26.30 Hourly

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: None.
  • Licensure: None.
