Senior Project Manager, Nurse Liaison

The University of Virginia, Division of General Medicine, Geriatrics, Palliative, & Hospital Medicine, in the School of Medicine, is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Nurse Liaison.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
  • Serve as an expert in geriatric nursing care to serve as nursing liaison with participating facilities.
  • Build and maintain communication with community of practice to garner needs identified to address in discussion sessions, as well as practical implementation examples, innovation, and case-based use experts to present.
  • Recruit staff from long-term care facilities across Virginia into the community of practice through marketing efforts and direct connection.
  • Assist with coordination and implementation of web-based dialogue and direct connecting participants with infection control experts to get questions answered.
  • Assist in leading the team in curating resources, scheduling with participants and experts.
  • Additional duties as needed in support of other VICE team members.

Qualified candidates must have:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: At least seven years of experience. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

This position is located in Charlottesville, VA and is eligible for a hybrid schedule.
