Position Compensation Range: $27.00 - $44.36 Hourly
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or graduate who has filed a completed application for licensure in Virginia and has received an authorization letter issued by the board may practice nursing in Virginia from the date of the authorization letter. The period of practice shall not exceed 90 days between the date of successful completion of the nursing education program, as documented on the applicant's transcript, and the publication of the results of the candidate's first licensing examination. Per Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) directive dated March 19, 2020 and in accordance with Governor of Virginia Executive Order number 51 (2020), the 90-day time limit is waived so that a registered nurse applicant may practice until they are able to take the NCLEX, but no later than 90 days following the expiration of the Executive Order. American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 20-50 lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
