PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to safely and securely fasten seat belts and shoulder harnesses in aircraft or ambulance, as provided by the aircraft or ambulance manufacturer, without modification to those safety devices. Able to tolerate stressors of flight and medical transport, including, but not limited to: excessive motion, vibration, extreme temperatures, standing or sitting for prolonged periods, frequent traveling, bending/stooping and providing patient care in confined spaces. Able to respond to visual, verbal and non-verbal commands and communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be able to lift/push/pull a minimum of 150 lbs. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious diseases.
