Registered Nurse Clinical Program Coordinator - Team Member Injury Prevention

The Clinical Program Coordinator for Team Member Injury is responsible for the oversight, development and implementation of quality improvement and team member safety initiatives. The position is also responsible for reviewing and monitoring team member injury data. Collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify gaps and to design and oversee interventions.
  • Supports quality improvement initiatives that relate to workplace injury treatment and prevention, tracking and reporting team member injury, and clinical nursing outcomes regarding work-related injury cases. Leads projects as indicated.
  • Coordinates projects and workstreams to achieve goals and objectives in a timely manner.
  • Maintains in-depth understanding of team member injury event reporting, external agency reporting and benchmarking.
  • Analyzes and reports team member injury data and trends to leaders and team members.
  • Collaborates with senior leaders to identify goals for team member safety.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to gain understanding of workflows and gather input on interventions.
  • Effectively communicates with team members and leaders directly and through presentations.
  • Uses Lean methodology to identify problems and develop solutions in partnership with team members and leaders.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $67,849.60 - $108,555.20 Annually

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program required.
  • Experience: Five years of progressive nursing experience and project management.
  • Licensure: Must be a registered nurse and currently licensed to practice in the state of Virginia.

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.
