We are looking for nurses who want to work in any of the following counties: Albemarle, Culpeper, Orange, or Louisa County. Dedicated weekend staff options are available for nurses completing their bachelors or master’s degrees. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with preferably one year in hospital acute care, critical care or home health care/home infusion/hospice care.
 
This position qualifies for the UVA Medical Center Clinical Ladder. The salary range reflected in this job posting is for an RN Clinician 2.
 
Position Compensation Range: $54,537.60 - $90,272.00/Yearly 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
  • 1 year of Relevant Experience  
  • Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. 
  • Valid Virginia Driver’s License required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.       
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job may require sitting for prolonged periods, frequently standing, walking,  bending/stooping.  Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs.  May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
