The Emergency Department at UVA is a Level 1 Trauma Center and currently has four adult trauma bays and two pediatric trauma bays. With specialties such as, Neurosciences, Specialized Heart and Vascular Center, and Transplant offered twenty-four hours a day, we are able to provide care to patients from all over the state and adjoining states. Our ED also houses a Chest Pain Center, Express Care, and Women's Center for Emergency Care.

Position Compensation Range: $26.22 - $43.40 HourlyPhysical Demands: Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently walking, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
