UVA Orthopedics Culpeper is seeking a Foot & Ankle, Trauma, Orthopedic Surgeon for a full-time position in Culpeper, Virginia.

ASPIRE TO PERFORM AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon with current licensure to join a team of surgeons committed to patient-focused care and interdisciplinary collaboration. This is a full-time position located in our Orthopedic Practice in Culpeper, Virginia.

The Physicians Group works collaboratively with the University of Virginia School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and Medical Center to provide the highest quality of patient care. We serve patients at sites throughout Central Virginia, including Charlottesville, Richmond, Louisa, Augusta, Orange, Zion Crossroads, Nelson, Culpeper, Winchester and others. We currently have over 24 primary and specialty care practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Completion of accredited residency in chosen specialty,
  • Experience: None.
  • Licensure: Board certification in specialty (if newly graduated from residency, must be obtained within 2 years of graduation) must be kept current. Unrestricted license to practice within the Commonwealth of Virginia. Current DEA certificate without restriction.
  • Skills: Experience utilizing a personal computer and computerized scheduling.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive and repetitive). Repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. May be exposed to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
