With a focus on excellence in clinical care, teaching and research, the UVA Physicians Group (UPG) seeks a dedicated OB/GYN physician who will have full-spectrum responsibilities, including an office-based practice and performing gynecological surgery and L&D, including call.

Candidates must possess an MD or DO, have completed an OB/GYN residency, and be board-certified or an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Excellent clinical skills, a passion for delivering care in a community setting, enthusiasm for medical education, and an interest in collaborating in clinical research are encouraged.

The position is full-time and offers a very competitive base salary and incentive program along with sign-on bonus and opportunity for a non-paid faculty appointment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Graduate of accredited medical school with Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
  • Completion of accredited residency in OBGYN.


Licensure:

  • BC or BE (if newly graduated from residency, must be obtained within 2 years of graduation).
  • Current Virginia license and DEA.
  • Current BLS and PALS.
