The Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging seeks a Medical Office Coordinator to support community and academic Radiologists who perform radiologic exams for UVA Community Health hospitals. Incumbent performs administrative tasks that allow radiologists to focus on clinical work, and ensures that imaging interpretation and related tasks are addressed in a timely manner. Incumbent is responsible for answering inquires, resolving problems, triaging issues, fulfilling requests and performing database management. Incumbent provides exceptional client service and maximizes workflow.

This is a restricted position; continuation is dependent on funding and satisfactory performance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Two years of administrative experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting or customer service role.
Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred in business administration, health care administration or related field.
