What you will do:

Lead and/or participate in the architectural design, development, testing, and implementation of multiple complex system integrations, source/target system connectors, and Fischer Identity configurations.

Define and document technical requirements for Identity and Access Management and auxiliary systems.
-
Configure and test workflow designs for access-based requests, processing, and approvals. Orchestrate tasks to enable functions, such as access approvals, notifications, escalations, and integration with other business processes.

Maintain thorough technical knowledge in relevant IAM components, including Source/Target systems, OpenLDAP, Active Directory, Duo, Grouper, etc.

Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test workflows based on business and technical requirements.

Create test scenarios in DEV and QA environments to support system integration testing, regression testing, and UAT.

Define, document, and automate service provisioning and de-provisioning in target systems and specialized applications based upon role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), policy-based access control (PBAC), and attestation efforts.

Periodically evaluate IAM processes and security controls to ensure compliance with policies.

Develop/review/update disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans.

Lead and/or participate in future IAM projects to integrate Fischer Identity with robust group management tools, to address Medical Center-specific requirements, and to maintain objects in active directory environments outside the central tenants.

Serve as a subject matter expert for the full identity lifecycle and the implementation of IAM at UVA.

Serve on an on-call rotation with the IAM Team.
Required Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience as a technical analyst/developer/architect.
-
Experience documenting technical design, business requirements, user stories, use cases, and requirement traceability matrices.
-
Experience with enterprise systems architecture.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience working in an agile environment.
-
Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Project coordination experience.
-
IAM life cycle management, especially in a university setting
-
Experience working with IAM technologies, including SSO (Shibboleth, SAML, etc.), Duo for MFA, LDAP, Active Directory, Grouper, Fischer Identity, or similar product.

Experience with cloud orchestration platforms such as Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
-
Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, GCS, or Azure.
-
Experience developing or maintaining CI/CD workflows and deployment automation.
-
Ability to manage projects, enhancements, and defects simultaneously.
-
Experience working with Agile productivity platforms, such as Trello, LeanKit, etc.
-
Hold an identity-related certification such as IDPro or IMI.
Anticipated hiring range : $80,000 - $108,000
