Flourish Boutique Coordinator - Breast Care Center

Responsible for coordinating all daily activities of the Positive Image Boutique, which includes ordering and maintaining inventory and providing excellent customer service. Coordinates efforts of volunteer staff working in the Boutique. Ensures the fiscal integrity of the store by accounting for all cash credit transactions and use of donated funds. Responsible for proper fitting of mastectomy garments including, but not limited to, bras, prosthesis, mastectomy apparel and others offered by the Boutique.
  • Coordinates all daily activities of the Positive Image Boutique.
  • Purchases, receives, merchandises and manages inventory of Boutique.
  • Works with vendors to ensure the procurement of high-quality merchandise, expedient delivery and dependable service at optimum price.
  • Responsible for proper fitting of mastectomy garments, including related recordkeeping and documentation in the medical record as required.
  • Provides products and services to patients who are uninsured and underinsured according to guidelines established by the Cancer Center and the UVA Hospital Auxiliary.
  • Performs area-specific activities.
  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $20.28 - $31.43 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience.
  • Licensure: National certification as a Mastectomy Fitter (CFm) required. Those hired without certification will have 12 months to obtain.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.
