UVA Primary and Specialty Care Zions Crossroads Family Practice provides primary care services and preventive healthcare for patients of all ages. We offer the highest quality of care for our patients in the Zions Crossroads, VA community. In addition to appointments, we will be opening a walk-in practice to see patients for minor injuries and illnesses on a walk-in basis in 2020. We have lab and x-ray on-site. Our current office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The University of Virginia Health System Physicians Group (UPG) seeks a dedicated primary care physician to join our primary care practice and will have the opportunity to also work in our walk-in practice when this opens in mid-2021. Our UPG practices are affiliated with UVA Medical Center, widely recognized for its quality of care and the #1 hospital in Virginia for 2019, according to U.S. News & World Report. You will also have access to the resources of our Medical Center.

  • Education: Graduate of accredited medical school with degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Completion of accredited residency program in family medicine.
  • Licensure: Virginia license or license eligibility. Board certification in family medicine (if newly graduated from residency, must be obtained within 2 years of graduation) and must be kept current. Current DEA certificate without restriction.

COVID Vaccination Requirement

Due to the scope of President Biden's Executive Order 14042 issued in early September, all University employees, including remote employees, must receive their final vaccination dose by January 4, 2022, unless they have a University-approved religious or medical exemption. The University has updated policy SEC-045 to reflect these new requirements.

If hired by the Academic Division, excluding School of Medicine, School of Nursing, UVA Physicians Group, and the Health Systems Library, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination or be willing to be vaccinated by January 4, 2022. Academic employees may apply for a University-approved medical or religious exemption.
