UVA Primary Care Riverside Practice, Charlottesville, Virginia provides primary care services and preventive healthcare for patients of all ages. We offer the highest quality care for our patients in the Charlottesville, VA community.

In addition to appointments we also offer a Walk in Practice to see patients for minor injuries and illnesses. Our Family Medicine Physician opportunity will work with (2) other physicians and (2) Advance Practice Providers with our Primary Care team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Graduate of Accredited Medical School with Degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Completion of Accredited Residency in Family Medicine.

Experience:

  • Prefer 1-2 years of experience

Licensure:

  • Board certification in Family Medicine (if newly graduated from residency, must be obtained within 2 years of graduation) and Current Virginia License or LE
  • Current BLS


COVID Vaccination Requirement

Due to the scope of President Biden's Executive Order 14042 issued in early September, all University employees, including remote employees, must receive their final vaccination dose by January 4, 2022, unless they have a University-approved religious or medical exemption. The University has updated policy SEC-045 to reflect these new requirements.

If hired by the Academic Division, excluding School of Medicine, School of Nursing, UVA Physicians Group, and the Health Systems Library, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination or be willing to be vaccinated by January 4, 2022. Academic employees may apply for a University-approved medical or religious exemption.
