The Division of Medical Toxicology, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking a full-time epidemiologist to support research, public health programs, and other areas of special focus. This position will provide hands-on oversight of designated programs and projects to include statistical analysis, systems review, health improvement, and other educational or research based areas. This position will provide expertise in the design, management and evaluation of study protocols and health status questionnaires, sample selection and analysis. They have a depth and breadth of experience, handle very complex problems independently, and mentor lower-level healthcare employees.

This position will have elements of work that include teaching epidemiology principles, research concept development, and data analysis processing and results to healthcare employees of various levels and responsibilities.

Candidates with experience and/or training in areas of toxicology, criminology, terrorism preparations, or professional experience working in a similar higher education environment or institution are highly encouraged to apply.


Education: Master's Degree in epidemiology or related field
Experience: Two years of related experience. Research experience gained in pursuit of Ph.D. may be considered.
