Contract Specialist

Reporting of data to internal and external customers based on active contracts for the Health System.
  • Assists in coordinating the collection, maintenance, analysis, and distribution of contract information used in order placement and reporting.
  • Assists in data entry and ensures data accuracy in order to meet established deadlines and goals.
  • Compares PeopleSoft and NuVia contract information and maintains data files contained therein.
  • Works closely with internal staff and vendors in analyzing and resolving data accuracy issues in order to maintain data integrity.
  • Back-up to review and approve NuVia recommendations to PeopleSoft interface.
  • Assists in uploading contract GHX templates into GHX Contract Center.
  • Compares contract GHX templates to current PS Item Master to ensure all information is updated accordingly. Once completed, any and all additional information or issues will need to be addressed.
  • Assists in maintaining statistics and conducting market research.
  • Tracks progress against planned goals and requirements of the contracts.
  • Uses data to make recommendations for greater impact and organizational efficiency.
  • Participates as a team member and is accountable for own work responsibilities.

Position Compensation Range: $22.39 - $35.82 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensure: None required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive desktop computers.
