Provides support and assistance to the Director of Clinical Operations and Regional Manager team with determining strategy, planning, implementing and communicating new initiatives, quality measures, cost containment and continuous quality improvement. Assists with analyzing, tracking, evaluating, reporting and communicating provider productivity data and trends. Monitors and assists with compliance to network policy, standard work, policies and procedures and supporting operational initiatives. Processes provider payroll. Implements procurement controls and tracking system for various accounts payable processes.
  • Supports the Director and Regional Managers with determining strategy, planning, implementing and communicating new initiatives, quality measures, cost containment and continuous quality improvement.
  • Liaison to Office Management and lead providers to disseminate information and updates.
  • Analyzes operational performance to provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with network standards, policies and procedures within CPG practices.
  • Assists with provider and manager recruitment and onboarding. Performs initial screening of candidates, schedules interviews and site visits, coordinates travel and drafts itineraries.
  • Acts as delegate for Regional Manager team in payroll system for APP and office manager time processing, compensation and other approvals.
  • Handles highly confidential and sensitive information, evaluates issues as needed and briefs management on requests, complaints and suggestions.
  • Reviews provider productivity reports to relay areas of concern to Regional Manager team.
  • Processes provider payroll activity pay, bonus and compensation changes as directed.
  • Reconciles and reimburses provider invoices and expenses to include licensure and CME.
  • Assists with quarterly review of provider and practice staffing models to determine recruitment needs.
  • Supports CPG leadership and practice managers with AP processes and approvals. Processes expenses or invoices for payment.
  • Tracks vaccine purchasing and invoicing to ensure timely processing.
  • Provides oversight of student placements within CPG practices. Acts as the liaison to outside agencies regarding placement requests and completion of screening process and legal agreements.
  • Supports Regional Manager team in preparing budgets through data collection and coordination with practice managers.
  • Assists in developing, implementing, monitoring and documenting annual work unit goals. Provides regular status updates to CPG management.
  • Contacts and collaborates with vendors to research and select optimal equipment and supplies for CPG network.
  • Manages provider compliance through tracking and communication of participation in required training with quality management and other programs.
  • Represents Regional Manager team in meetings and committees as directed.
  • Assists and coordinates with human resources and outside departments to support recognition and reward programs.
  • Develops and maintains customized management reports as requested.
  • Schedules meetings, teleconferences, demonstrations and presentations. Prepares and distributes agendas.
  • Completes other projects and tasks as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare or related area, or related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in physician practice management with at least 2 years of experience directly involved in billing and collections, accounting, data analysis and/or productivity aspects.
  • Licensure: None.
  • Skills: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the UPG clinical operations and its impact on other UPG functional areas. Thorough understanding of the financial aspects of physician practice management. Intermediate-level word-processing and spreadsheet skills. Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.
