With strong momentum in the Full-Time MBA and Working Professional MBA programs, the Events and Operations Analyst joins Darden at an exciting time. This position supports and assists prospective students, applicants, and Admissions/Enrollment marketing team in navigating the online application system and associated Slate CRM database platform. The role provides operational support to the team and champions technology solutions for business processes. The Events and Operations Analyst is also responsible for events management to ensure prospective candidates to Darden's Full-Time and Working Professional degree programs have a positive experience and a broad range of opportunities to engage in and learn more about the Darden community. Events management includes coordination for on- and off- grounds events, virtual recruiting, and interview management, which are all integral to the application process.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages event logistical planning within CRM system, as well as day-of planning for in-person events.
  • Assists with the processing of application materials and ensuring accurate data collection.
  • Provides operational support to the team and champions technology solutions for business processes.
  • Coordinates on- and off-grounds events, acting as liaison between admissions team members, departmental points of contact, and partner organizations.
  • Manages interview coordination with admissions team and student interviewers, and oversees the applicant interview experience on grounds or virtually.
  • Maintains communication with prospective students via email and phone to assist with event attendance and follow-up. Delivers outstanding, responsive customer service.
  • Serves as an ambassador for Darden to prospective students.

Professional Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong computer skills, including CRM or database experience, required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data engaging in formal and informal problem-solving. Seeks additional information as needed to perform job functions and answer questions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to represent the department to individuals and large groups.
  • Attention to detail and ability to thoroughly execute tasks; excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing and complex priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines.
  • Understands and upholds departmental policies and procedures.
